Tim’s experience began with over a decade of training and handling police dogs in obedience, apprehension, tracking and narcotics detection, achieving and maintaining national certifications in these disciplines. Through professional K9 work, Tim learned that excellent performance isn’t just a goal, it’s a necessity.

With a desire to bring this level of expertise to individual dog owners, Tim attended the highly respected North State K9 Academy in Sanford, NC. There, Tim developed additional skills for training the broader population of pet dogs.

To further enhance his academic qualifications, Tim completed the rigorous veterinary technician program at Bel-Rea Institute in Denver, CO, graduating with an associate’s degree in applied science.

Tim is now a certified veterinary technician who has practiced at a major, full-service veterinary hospital in the Denver metro area. He maintains his skills by attending continuing education classes and working in the veterinary medical field.

Tim brings his expertise in canine training and training-related behavioral issues to the classroom by conducting educational programs for veterinary professionals.

And, of course, Tim learns from his own dogs as well as those of his clients. He strives to learn from as many sources as possible and to share his knowledge with you and your dog.
